About us
In the late 1880s, a group of students at Brown University organized themselves as a societal fraternity based on the fellowship of their Catholic faith. In 1889, Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity was established. The Georgia Delta Rho Chapter was founded at the University of Georgia in 1963 and has prided itself on its strong brotherhood, philanthropy efforts, and academic rigor.
Brothers are heavily involved in campus programs including intramural and club sports, Honors College, UGA Miracle, SGA, and more. Phi Kappa Theta provides exceptional opportunities to develop leadership skills as well as building professional networks and forming life-long relationships. While maintaining academic and extracurricular pursuits, the brotherhood retains an active social schedule including our historic annual Greenhouse party, weekly socials and date nights, and monthly brotherhood events. Prominent alumni include UGA Athletic Director Vince Dooley and President John F. Kennedy.
